Arlene Cybulskie, Registered Massage Therapist and member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 1985, is excited to join the team at Blaise T. Ryan Acupuncture to offer professional, experienced and effective massage therapy services.
Arlene met Blaise in 2015 after enrolling in his Qigong Teacher Training course. This
reignited her long standing interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the ancient
internal arts of Qigong and Nei Gong. Currently enrolled in an Acupuncture Practitioner Program in Ottawa she aims to have her license to practice Acupuncture in 2025.
Since studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, her massage therapy work and method of treating the physical body is more attuned with the universal energy of Qi. Arlene
understands that harmony and balance is achievable when obstructions are released from the connective tissue fascial network. When there is more space, and ease of movement felt in the body a person experiences relief. She will assist her clients in achieving ease of movement, and encourage release of tension in tight muscle tissue, and joints. To encourage calm in the nervous system, there will be guidance in the form of breath work and postural alignment in standing and seated positions.
When not studying and working, Arlene takes comfort in the quiet of the forest near her home along the shores of the Ottawa River, enjoying the birds, plants, and animals that make their home there too.
