Born and raised in Ottawa, J.P.’s passion for health care includes a focus on sports medicine, supporting longevity in aging, pain, mental health, stress management, disease prevention, and qi gong. J.P. was led to Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine through influences in his family (parents are health care professionals), and his passions (Martial Arts, Meditation, Taoism, Buddhism), and believes TCM has the potential to offer practical healthcare solutions that can play a major role supporting global health and wellness. This program is modelled from the Beijing Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine curriculum.

Was a teacher of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the International Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Ottawa, Ontario. During this time, Blaise also had a full time Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture practice at the International Academy Health Clinic in Ottawa, now called the Marshall Health Clinic.
